Software Engineering Manager – AI & Platform
Experience: 7–15 years
IncuBrix is a Singapore-headquartered startup building an AI-powered workspace for creators, agencies and marketers.
As we expand our India R&D team, we’re looking for a builder-manager who can develop people, establish a strong engineering rhythm and remain close to architecture, code and production systems.
This is not a coordination-only role. You’ll lead the team while staying technically involved.
LOCATION & WORK MODEL
• First 6–9 months: Trichy, Tamil Nadu — on-site or hybrid
• After 6–9 months: Mandatory relocation to Bengaluru
• Full-time role
• Reports to: Founder & CEO
COMPENSATION BUDGET
• Hybrid: ₹20–30 LPA
• On-site: ₹20–40 LPA
• Pay mix: 50% fixed + 50% flexible/performance-linked
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
• Leadership and coaching of software, platform and AI engineers
• Translation of the product roadmap into technical plans and releases
• Engineering planning, delivery, quality and accountability
• Architecture reviews, debugging and selective hands-on coding
• Testing, CI/CD, documentation, security and observability standards
• Production reliability, incident response, scalability and cloud cost
• Hiring, onboarding, performance, retention and leadership development
• Collaboration with Product, Design, AI, Operations and GTM teams
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 7–15 years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer or Architect
• Experience leading teams of 3–10+ engineers
• Proven delivery of SaaS, AI or platform products
• Strong hands-on background in Python or Go
• Technical judgment across frontend, APIs, data and distributed systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Docker, CI/CD and observability
• Strong hiring, coaching, evaluation and stakeholder-management skills
Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, MLOps, creator/media platforms, Kubernetes, India R&D setup or enterprise deployments is a strong advantage.
