About the Role
Xylem is looking for a Software / Sr. Software Engineer to support Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing initiatives across global production facilities. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web-based industrial applications while collaborating with global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Industry 4.0 applications for manufacturing environments.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
- Enhance and support existing applications.
- Collaborate with global engineering and project teams to achieve project goals.
- Support software testing, implementation, and end-user requirements.
- Stay updated with new technologies, product features, and industry best practices.
Must-Have Skills
✅ ThingWorx Platform (MES, DPM, RTPPM, CWC, AMU)
✅ Core Java
✅ JavaScript
✅ HTML & CSS
✅ MS SQL Database
✅ Kepware Server
✅ Experience building data-driven web applications
Preferred Skills
- DevOps and CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines)
- AWS or Azure Cloud deployment
- Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA
- PLC, SCADA, Embedded Systems
- C/C++ Programming
- Cross-browser development and debugging
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, IIoT, or manufacturing applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams across different time zones.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.

- A ThingWorx Developer / Industry 4.0 Software Engineer with experience in Java, MS SQL, Kepware, and Industrial IoT applications, preferably from a manufacturing, automation, or digital transformation environment.
