About GreedyGame:
GreedyGame powers app and game monetization and growth through two lines of business:
PubScale, our platform for publishers -a single dashboard spanning ad monetization (AdX,
Immersive Ads, Offerwall), user acquisition (Grow), analytics (Insights), and in-app gaming
(Plug); and our own B2C consumer apps (Incent Apps, House of Apps) that put reward and
offer-based experiences directly in front of millions of users.
You'll work at the intersection of ad-tech, real-time data, and consumer-scale traffic.
About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to own backend architecture across our platform and
consumer products.
This is a role for someone ready to move beyond owning individual services and take
ownership of systems, architecture, people, and technical decisions. You'll lead a team of
4–10 engineers while remaining deeply hands-on, and work directly with Product and
founders to shape what we build and how we scale it.
What You'll Solve & Own
● Build and scale backend systems handling billions of requests and events per day.
● Design real-time or near-real-time pipelines for ads, clicks, conversions, offers,
rewards, and analytics.
● Solve complex problems around scale, performance, reliability and data consistency,
across B2B and B2C products.
● Own architectural decisions across services, databases, caching, queues, and
infrastructure.
● Build and evolve backend services using Go and Kubernetes.
● Lead a team of 4–10 engineers through technical direction, mentoring, and code
reviews while staying hands-on.
● Drive engineering quality through code reviews, observability, CI/CD, and production
ownership.
● Identify and drive meaningful adoption of AI-assisted development practices across
the team.
What We're Looking For
● 6–10 years of software engineering experience with strong backend expertise.
● Deep hands-on experience with Go/Golang; working knowledge of React.
● Experience technically leading 4–10 engineers, while remaining hands-on.
● Proven track record of building and scaling applications with significant traffic or user
volume.
● Strong system design fundamentals and experience with high-throughput, real-time,
or event-driven systems.
● Strong ownership, product thinking, and ability to make pragmatic technical decisions.
● Regular user of AI-assisted development tools.
● Startup or fast-paced product-company experience preferred.
Good to Have
● Ad-tech, programmatic advertising, app monetization, or rewards experience.
● AWS/GCP, observability, and high-volume event/analytics systems.
● Experience building both B2B platforms and B2C products.
