About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Engineers, Engineering Researchers, and Technical Experts to contribute to an advanced AI research and evaluation project.

You'll apply your engineering expertise to create and review rigorous academic assessment content, helping develop high-quality benchmarks that evaluate advanced AI reasoning across specialized engineering domains.

Responsibilities

• Author challenging multiple-choice engineering questions that test deep conceptual understanding.
• Verify existing questions for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and technical rigor.
• Rate questions as Medium, Hard, or Expert based on academic difficulty.
• Create 1 correct answer and 9 plausible alternatives designed to challenge advanced solvers.
• Develop clear, step-by-step technical solutions in Markdown.
• Provide 1–5 reputable academic references for each question.
• Document and justify edits made during question verification.

Required Qualifications

• PhD or doctoral candidate in Engineering or a closely related field.
• Master's degree considered for candidates with exceptional expertise in a specialized engineering domain.
• Strong command of graduate-level engineering principles, applied mathematics, and technical standards.
• Excellent written English and technical communication skills.
• Ability to express complex engineering concepts clearly and precisely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure.
• Industry or research experience in one of the covered engineering domains.
• Experience developing academic assessments, technical questions, or educational content.
• Experience with peer-reviewed research and academic references.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation, benchmarking, or technical data annotation is a plus.

Compensation

• Competitive compensation of $61–$77/hour.
• Hourly contract engagement.
