Job Title: Workday Time & Absence Techno-Functional Analyst


Position Summary

The Workday Time & Absence Techno-Functional Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management solutions. This role bridges business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are translated into scalable, compliant, and efficient Workday configurations.

Work at office all 5 days from office


Exp Level 4 to 8 Yrs


Key Responsibilities


Functional Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with HR, Payroll, and Operations stakeholders
  • Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules
  • Design and support accruals, leave plans, eligibility rules, and time calculations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (FMLA, PTO, LOA, etc.)
  • Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and defect resolution
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot time/absence issues

Technical Responsibilities

  • Configure calculated fields, business process frameworks, and condition rules
  • Support integrations with Payroll, Benefits, and third-party vendors
  • Analyze and resolve data issues using Workday reporting tools
  • Build and maintain reports, and audits related to time and absence
  • Partner with integration teams on inbound/outbound data flows


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of Workday experience with a focus on Time Tracking and Absence
  • Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Time & Absence
  • Strong understanding of HRIS processes and payroll impacts
  • Experience with Workday business processes, security, and reporting


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certification in Time Tracking and/or Absence
  • Experience supporting Workday implementations or tenant deployments
  • Knowledge of integrations (EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors)
  • Familiarity with advanced reporting tools
