About the Opportunity

One of our banking clients is looking for a Senior Specialist - Branch Operations to join their Wholesale Banking function in Gujarat.

Job Purpose

The role will involve day-to-day activities related to processing customer requests, reconciliations and participation in branch internal and statutory audit processes.

The role will also support better client servicing by applying trade and banking expertise across trade products and General Banking Operations, while assisting and supporting the Branch Ops Head in achieving organisational goals as per KPI.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Operational skills to operationalise new products and processes in line with market practice.

• Aptitude to constantly upgrade knowledge and skills in line with updates in the industry and peer banks.

• Manage branch operations productivity.

• Handle customer service activities for branch customers.

• Spearhead technological and digital upgrades in processes and systems in coordination with the technology team.

• Improve and enhance operating systems and procedures on an ongoing basis to meet future business challenges.

• Spearhead initiatives to reduce operational costs.

Educational Qualifications

Graduation:
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-Graduation:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.Com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience

5–10 years of relevant experience
